Some issues I encountered while playing:
1)Controls are too jerky: when you fall between rows of sawblades it's too hard to control, and you run into them and die. Also, it's really hard to jump onto a platform above you.
2)Controls are explained properly, for example I didn't know that you could double jump, until I realized that the level would be unbeatable without it.
3)Same with the hazards, you could've added text to indicate that the grey round things are sawblades, that instakill you.
4)There is no reason for wooden logs to have such inertia and to be able to rotate.
5)There is also no reason to use mouse to control anything, cause you don't use the pointer at all, you could've attached attack to a keyboard key.

Other than that I think with some polish you can make quite a decent and enjoyable game.

Meh, it works. It doesn't give you enough ammo, and you quickly run out of it, also there is no incentive in fighting the regular enemies in the boss level.

For some reason this game has a really surreal and uncanny atmosphere, I love it. Too bad it's so short, though.

Yup, it's just a short jam, but i'm glad you had fun!

Fun and pretty, but really frustrating, especially when I the game bugged, and I got stuck. It happens when you grapple and shoot slime. Then you run out of slime, but grapple doesn't detach and you can't jump, can't fall down, the only thing left to do, is hanging on the grappling rope.

Also, the controls aren't very comfortable, I'd prefer if grappling used some other key, cause many platformers use both W and Space for jumping, and my muscle memory gets confused.

Hey, thanks for playing and taking the time to leave feedback. I'll look in to the issues you've mentioned and upload an new build. I will give the keyboard controls some more thought and try and them tighter.

Bad choice for the color of enemies' bullets, especially in the first level, where they're nearly indistinguishable from the background. If I were you, I'd make them bright, so that the players could easily see and dodge them.

Also, no point in making the player drag the ship by holding the mouse button. Just "tie" the ship's position to the position of the mouse and make it autofire, since there's no reason to stop firing anyway.

Ty for the feedback I will check grow and illumination with 2D games. I don't think about that because I add the backgrounds late in development.

And you're very right there is no point to stop firing

Stuck on the screen with "press space to jump", wanted to go down the pipe, but it doesn't work. Wanted to go back, but ran into an invisible wall.

Oh it's probably just a tiny blip in the platform so you can jump over it. Some of the hitboxes are a little broken (sorry)
